The Garden Ohana is a lovely, self-contained apartment at the back of Waimea Guest House. It has a full kitchen, dining area, and beautiful tiled bathroom, as well as a large bedroom - with high vaulted ceilings, a queen bed, and two window seats - that opens out onto a shared back lanai.

The secluded tiny home offers guests all of the amenities of a stand-alone home, on a smaller scale. A full kitchen, bathroom, private outdoor shower, lofted bedroom, and private outdoor lanai and living space.

Rooted in Waimea’s History
Known as the Waiaka Lindsey House, the original home is described as the first dwelling in Waiaka. William and Kaluna Lindsey settled here after their marriage in 1865, raising twelve children in a home that became a gathering place for generations.
Its story is woven through gardens, historic waterways and the families who helped shape this community. Today, it remains our family home—a place we care for and share with travelers who value character, connection and a sense of place.
